Ava Fasano-Herman, freshman, has a huge heart not only for Irish dance but also for her newest art form, journalism.

  “It’s a commitment, and if I didn’t love it, I wouldn’t put in the work,” Fasano-Herman said.

  She has been dancing since 2011 and started recreational and professional dance two years ago. She has been teaching Irish dance to elementary aged kids for four years now.

  “I like writing; it’s therapeutic to me,” Fasano-Herman said.

   In addition to doing Irish dance, she enjoys reading books. Fasano-Herman’s favorite series is “Harry Potter.”

She joined journalism because she loves writing, and she expresses herself through creative writing like poetry. She also likes to spend time with her two miniature dachshunds, Lucky and Gabi.
