The petals fall off the final rose awaiting the last contestant standing. Finishing his journey of love through “The Bachelor,” Joey Graziadei, the most recent Bachelor, is getting ready to make his last choices for whom he loved most as lots of fans come up with what they believe is going to happen on finale night.

Throughout the season, they have shown the very last scene of the show where Graziadei is crying at the proposal spot, leading many to believe the girl he chooses at the end will say no. From the very beginning, Daisy Kent, one of the final two girls, has been viewed as “America’s Sweetheart,” with fans falling in love with her the second she walked out of the limo; however, as time has gone on, many fear that Kent is not ready for marriage and that Graziadei will propose to her, but she will be the one to say no to him on finale night.

“I think Daisy is going to be the one to leave because all season she has been holding back her emotions because she is scared of being hurt. I think before the proposal, she is going to realize she is still not fully healed from her past relationships, and she will let Kelsey love Joey like she wants to,” Sophie Metcalf, sophomore, said.

At the beginning of the season, Kelsey Anderson, a finalist, did not have much screen time, leading fans to think she did not have a good connection with Graziadei and that he would send her home early in his journey. However, as weeks passed, Anderson remained and even started to become a front runner following their one-on-one date in Spain. Watching their connection flourish, Bachelor Nation began to fall in love with Anderson and many have been hoping she is the one who ends up with Graziadei at the end, especially as the suspicions revolving around Kent began to grow.

“I think many people did not realize how much of a front runner that Kelsey was because she did not have as much screen time as the other girls did, but the past few weeks have really shown that it might actually be her at the end,” Jimmy Dudgeon, senior, said.

Maria Georgas, one of the final four, was stuck in the middle of drama for the majority of her time on the show. However, even with the rumors the other girls spread about her, Graziadei kept her until finally sending her home after meeting her family at hometowns, the final four. Due to the intense drama revolving around Georgas, tons of fans had sympathy for her and began to fall in love with the idea of her being Graziadei’s wife; nevertheless, after he sent her home, Bachelor Nation grew the theory that Georgas should become the next Bachelorette.

“I really think Maria would be a great Bachelorette because she interacts with Bachelor Nation well, she is a fan favorite, and I think she is hilarious and would be very entertaining,” Anna Wolfe, junior, said.

Through tears, laughs, and “I love yous,” Graziadei’s love journey is coming to an end next Monday, March 25. Make sure to tune into the finale of “The Bachelor” to find out who Graziadei picks, who becomes the next bachelorette, and if all these theories came true.

Hey! My name is Ansley, and I am a junior this year. This is my third year on the Talon, and I am the Assistant to Head of Staff. I am on the gymnastics team here at Etowah, and I am also in multiple clubs. I am training as a level nine competitive gymnast outside of Etowah. In my free time, I would most likely be watching Big Brother or hanging out with my friends and family. I have a passion for writing and for marine life. My goal for the future is to follow in my parents’ and sister’s footsteps and go to the University of Georgia for college, and I want to major in English language and literature, so writing is right up my alley.
