World spinning never still 

Always moving a relentless tidal wave of something. 

Never grasped 

But reached for. 

A steady island swept away 

By a steady stream of words. 

Thoughts don’t stop 

Causing paralysis. 

Stuck. 

Moving. 

But Stuck. 

I wish to move on my own. 

Not in a wave but on a boat. 

Away. 

But the world will keep spinning. 

Until I stop.
