Newspaper is in a “rebuilding” year with a new adviser and most of the staff new to the newspaper. Our novice reporters, “green” and enthusiastic are learning from the veterans on staff. All have benefited from interacting with professional journalists working in the field learning the ins and outs of newswriting and reporting, interviewing and editing, and taking pictures that tell their own story. In the past few weeks, students have interviewed newspaper reporters, television reporters and even skyped with an NBA broadcaster. Mr. Ball sat down for a press conference which became the genesis for Coffee with Keith.
