Senior spotlight: Lauren Gower
What is your favorite part about being a senior this year?
My favorite part about being a senior this year is the sense of accomplishment and pride you feel throughout the entire year. Having made it through all the difficulties and being able to pass our legacy on to the next class.
What will you miss the most once you have graduated?
The students and teachers who have become my family. I’m going to miss seeing the people I care about every day, while doing the things I love.
What will you miss the least?
The workload! AP classes were a challenge to say the least.
Where do you hope to attend college? What do you plan on majoring in?
I have a couple options for colleges, but my dream school is Georgia Tech. But no matter where I go, I plan to major in digital/computational media.
What has been your most notable memory throughout your high school career?
Marching down Main Street in Walt Disney World. When the marching band took a trip to Disney last April it was an incredible experience. I got to participate in a fantastic event while being in a magical place with my friends.
