Horace wimp, this is your life.  Go out and find yourself a wife.  Make a stand, and be a man, and you will have a great life plan,” lyrics from The Diary of Horace Wimp,” an Electric Light Orchestra song.

So, now that you are the freshest freshman or freshwoman, you are left with one burning question.  What is my purpose now?  Fear not, because your boy, G-Soph, is here to show you the fire of knowledge once more.  This time I shall share my wisdom on how to get a date, stay in a relationship, and respect your partner to the max!

Want a date?  Know respect.  Respect is the foundation of a heathy relationship.  You and your partner are both equals.  Be aware that one is not better or worse than the other, so treat each other as equals.

Now for the process of actually getting a date.  The biggest key to finding a partner is to not look for one.  Find a friend first, and see where things go from there.  It might go nowhere, but you might also meet your best friend, or even future partner.  There is no shame in dreaming big.

You have a date now.  Congratulations!  You should know honesty is one of the most important facts any type of relationship.  Some people would even say it is the foundation of your bond.  Do not lie to your partner!  He or she will find out sooner or later, and it could put a huge dent in your relationship.

Every relationship is unique.  I cannot teach you how to ask someone out or where you should go on dates because everyone has individual preferences.  Some people may want a subdued evening staying in and cuddling; others may want a grand romantic dinner, and some may want something entirely different.  Just be yourself, and have fun, but not too much fun, you crazy kids.
