Living life fully
When people say to live life to the fullest, what does that mean? From climbing a 3,000 foot mountain, skydiving, or swimming in the Great Lakes, everyone has a different answer to that question.
“I have always wanted to go snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef, and someday I am going to make it happen,” Will Garvey, senior, said.
Since the world is changing almost daily during this unusual time, many students have decided not to take life for granted and want to achieve what they have always wanted.
“I know it is not that realistic, but Dubai has always been top of list of places I have wanted to visit,” Alex Fiscarelli, senior, said.
Some want to focus on achieving one big or small bucket list item each year. Teachers are also focusing on their dreams outside of their careers in education.
“[Something I have always wanted to do is] hike El Camino de Santiago in Spain or hike the Pacific Coast trail,” Amanda Massey, social studies teacher, said.
Since quarantine started, everyone knows what it feels like to be stuck on an endless cycle of repeat, so what better motivation is there to start working on that bucket list and chasing those dreams?
