Imagine seeing your favorite bands and artists for three days enjoying the freedom of outside. Recently festivals have released their set lists and people at Etowah are excited.
“I look forward to the new lineups as they come out,” Katherine Tiltion, junior, said.
Shaky Knees is a three-day festival at Centennial Olympic Park in downtown Atlanta. Three-day tickets are $179 and are for all ages. This festival starts Friday May 4th and ends Sunday May 6th. This festival is filled with alternative music, food trucks, and games.
” I love the atmosphere of outdoor concerts,” Amie O’Brien, junior, said.
Similar to Shaky Knees is The Imagine Festival, an electronic music filled three days at Atlanta Motor Speedway. This is an 18 and older music festival that runs from Sep. 21 to the 23. Three-day tickets are $130.
” The price I pay for the tickets is totally worth the experience,” Anna Lively, freshman, said.
Although in a different state, Hangout Music Festival is located in Gulf Shores, Alabama. This three-day festival includes alternative and rap music and is located on the beach.
Although most music festivals have a price to pay, they are a good way to explore new music and spend time with friends or meet new ones.
