Little has big dreams
Kellie Little, sophomore, has big dreams of becoming a television screenwriter when she gets older.
“I watched movies when I was younger, and I didn’t know you could have a career in that,” Little said.
Wanting to be a screenwriter, Little hopes to attend New York University with a focus on English. She hopes her first major project will be her own dramatic TV show.
“I’m excited to share my ideas with the world,” Little said.
Little is inspired by Shonda Rhimes, writer of Grey‘s Anatomy. Little’s favorite shows are Pretty Little Liars, Gossip Girl, and Bates Motel.
“I want people to watch and to forget everything around them because of a plot,” Little said.
Little prefers television over movies because to her, TV has more suspense. Movies, to her, can leave her hanging, and she doesn’t want to have to wait three years for a sequel to come out.
“I’m not afraid to take risks with writing and write about what’s considered taboo, but still make it seem cool,” Little said.
