Once an Eagle parent, now an Eagle. That is the story of June Pollack, this year’s recipient of the Support Staff Member of the Year award. From raising her own Etowah graduates to helping the next generation of eagles, Pollack is proud to be a part of something bigger than herself. 

“I really appreciate my peers recognizing what I do on a daily basis,” Pollack said.  

Pollack began working at Etowah in the counseling office but has since moved upstairs to room 6210 where she is now secretary to administrator Jennifer Jones.  

“I’ve always seen this job as a way to be of service to others,” Pollack said.  

As a mother to two Etowah graduates, Pollack enjoys being a part of the community and staying involved with the school her children attended. Pollack’s daughter was a member of the class of 2015 and her son was a member of the class of 2017.  

“My favorite part of being an Etowah Eagle is that I was an Eagle before I came here,” Pollack said.
