What is your favorite part of being a senior this year?

Being a leader. I’m a part of the drama department and Elite Women’s choir at our school I love making connections with underclassmen just as previous graduating classes have with me. I preach that we’re a family all the time, and I truly believe we are.

What will you miss most once you have graduated?

I will definitely miss the drama and choral department the most. I’ve been involved in both since freshman year and I’ve found some of my best friends in both groups. Mrs. Forrest and Mr. Hall have been the greatest teachers and mentors these past four years and I’m incredibly grateful for them. It’s gonna be really hard to say goodbye.

What are you going to miss the least?

I’m not gonna miss parking. I dual enroll this year and so I’ve already escaped TAA, and the cockroaches, but I still come at seventh period for chorus and trying to avoid hitting students as I leave is the worst.

Where do you hope to attend college? What do you plan on majoring in?

I will be attending Columbus State University in the Fall, and I will be majoring in Theatre Education.

What has been your most notable memory throughout your high school career?

This past fall I was the lead in our school’s One Act Play, Radium Girls. Playing Grace Fryer was memorable in itself, but going to Regionals and winning not only Best Ensemble, Best Tech, an All-Star Actor award given to my friend Brandon Huynh, Region’s Best Actor award given to my friend Adam Parbhoo, and Region’s Best Actress award given to myself, but we won overall too! Being Regional Champions two years in a row was a big goal for all of us and a great way to end my last One Act Competition. There were a lot of tears. It was great.
