New stores, new town

With new restaurants and stores coming to Towne Lake, families and students have new places to try.

“I’m so excited about all the good things that are happening in Woodstock. Our town has truly been blessed with all the new beginnings,” Suzanne Azzarello, Etowah parent said.

Five of the new stores in the Woodstock area include: Frozen Cow, Addison Jane, Fashion Ten, Tiny Bubbles and Maple Street Biscuit.

Frozen Cow, next to Mexican restaurant, El Ranchero, recently opened.

“I am excited to try new kinds of ice cream from different kinds of shops,” Dane Bower, freshman, said.

Tiny Bubbles, a bubble tea bar, plans to open by the end of this year. Bubble tea is a Taiwanese tea-based drink including solid pop-able bubbles at the bottom of the cup. Maple Street Biscuit, a breakfast joint, opened earlier this month in the Towne Lake Square shopping center. Customers can feast on a variety of biscuits, sandwiches, and salads.

“Finally, Towne Lake has arrived and the foodies can rejoice,” Haley O’Brien, Etowah parent, said.

New to the Downtown Woodstock area, Addison Jane, a clothing store for young adults, opened up alongside its sister stores: Brooklynn’s, Madisonn Ave. and Branches Boutique.

“With the new clothing stores coming, I am excited to try new styles,” Kiley Miller, freshman, said.

Similar to Addison Jane, right across from Etowah, Fashion Ten, a clothing store where everything is ten dollars or under is proving popular for Etowah students.

“I am looking forward for new, in style clothing at the new clothing stores in our community,” Caroline Kapcsos, freshman, said.

Many are excited for our community to grow, and students want to try new things. There is no more need for commutes to Kennesaw for ice cream or bubble tea. Customers can satisfy their cravings close to home.
