Tom Holland swings his way onto the big screen again with the film Spider-Man: No Way Home. The movie releases Dec. 16 ,and after three years of waiting, many fans are anticipating the exciting continuation of the story.

Tickets for No Way Home went on sale Monday, Nov. 29, and within just the first few hours, many theaters were sold out for the opening night and the following days. In addition, many struggled to purchase a seat due to the malfunctioning of the websites.

“I had planned to wait till midnight to get tickets, but I was not able to get tickets till 2:30 am because of the website crashing,” Ryan Kennedy, senior, said.

In an interview, producer Amy Pascal announced that this is not the last time viewers will see Tom Holland on the big screen as the well-known hero. A fourth movie has already been approved, and for the first time in history of the Spider-Man series, Tom Holland will be the only actor to star in more than three movies.

“I am already so excited for the third Spider-Man movie, and the thought of a fourth one is amazing. I am personally a huge fan of Tom Holland and Zendaya. I would watch pretty much any movie he is in,” Ava Riney, junior, said.

The new movie picks up where the last one ended. Mysterio, a past villain who disguised himself as a hero, revealing Spider-Man’s identity as Peter Parker and framing him for his death. Both on trial and facing public scrutiny, Parker is forced on another adventure. Opening up other universes with Doctor Strange’s help, Parker has to fight many of the past Spider-Man villains such as Doctor Octopus and The Lizard.

“I am excited for No Way Home because I feel like there’s going to be a lot of twists and turns no one will see coming,” Drennan Wilson, freshman, said.

As more and more tickets are being sold, the tensions continue to rise as many wait to discover how Spider-Man will save the world this time.
