There comes a time when a social media platform dies. This usually happens when another platform improves upon it, eventually replacing it. Facebook “killed” Myspace, and now Vine is dead due to many social media websites.

Twitter is taking credit for the “murder” of Vine. However, that is not the only possible reason for Vine to shut down. Instagram made its videos longer, and now there is a new app called Musical.ly. Musical.ly is basically the next Vine since you can produce short comedy videos and much more.
